Using the website

Use the website lawfully. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code or use automated requests in a way that disrupts the service. There are no customer accounts or public posting facilities on this site.

The content explains services and helps you prepare an enquiry. It is not a diagnosis of a particular building, a legal determination of liability or confirmation that an insurer will meet a claim. The lease, policy, survey evidence and individual circumstances still matter.

Content, photographs and downloads

The site’s branding and original content belong to ADI or the relevant rights holder. Fonts and other licensed assets retain their own licence terms. You may use the resident guide and illustrative report to understand or discuss an investigation; do not misrepresent an illustration as a completed survey or imply an endorsement that has not been given.

Case studies describe particular investigations. Their findings do not guarantee the same result at another property. Third-party guidance is provided for context; its publisher controls that material.

Arranging and accepting a booking

A phone enquiry does not itself confirm attendance or form an online booking. Establish the contracting party, instructed survey, charges, access and reporting arrangements with ADI. Read and keep the applicable booking conditions and written confirmation; these website terms do not replace an accepted service agreement.

  • Agree access to the relevant flats and communal areas, isolation authority and practical site arrangements.
  • Confirm whether the instruction covers detection alone or separately authorised repairs, opening-up and reinstatement.
  • Clarify payment, cancellation and rearrangement conditions before accepting the booking.
  • Further investigation or a separate repair visit may be needed; same-day repair is not guaranteed.

ADI’s no-find-no-fee offer has exclusions, including shared water mains and commercial enquiries. Do not assume it applies to a block-wide survey. Request the full applicable conditions when discussing your instruction.

Availability and your rights

Website information may be updated and access may sometimes be interrupted. Report a material error so it can be checked. Nothing in these website terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or takes away applicable statutory rights.

If you are acting as a consumer, these website terms do not remove your consumer protections. An urgent appointment should not be treated as automatically cancelling those rights. Any relevant service arrangements must be explained for the actual booking.

Privacy and changes to these terms

Read the privacy notice and cookie notice for information handling on this site. The review date identifies this version of the website terms. A website update does not, by itself, change an existing agreed booking.
